I can’t shake this kid so I’m going to post about him.
This is Gama Droiville
Gama is literally a choir boy
On April 14, 2014, Gama was shot twice in Brooklyn.
The alleged gunman has been caught.
I think it goes without saying that his shooting intolerable and our children deserve better.
Occasionally, when a young black boy is shot in New York City, a “community” leader comes on TV for a day, the Mayor might say something, there are shots of the grief stricken parents, medals for “bravery” may be handed out and then nothing. It is my belief that we have become numb to black boys being shot.
But that is another post.
What struck me about this story is the courage displayed by young Gama
He tells to everyone to relax because god is with him as he’s lying on the floor of grocery store, leaking blood, with two bullets in him.
Most ADULTS in Gama’s situation would not be able to demonstrate such fortitude, not to mention faith.
Gama lived through his ordeal and managed to teach the city a lesson.
We should all be thankful for that.
Get well soon young man and thank you.

Dennis To’s version if Ip Man tests his Wing Chun against Ip Man’s real life son, Ip Chun, in “Ip Man: The Legend is Born.”
Granted, Ip Chun is doubled in a lot in the fight but it’s fantastic to see him on screen and, at 88 years old, he still has the moves.

I often see people who are in love do crazy things, and then those crazy things get blamed on love, and then someone goes “well screw love then”. It aint love’s fault, it’s the person’s fault.

I’m sick of temptation
Father please, gimme the patience
What I’m facin
If I pray for purification
Gonna be there for me and
Open my eyes to see and
Open my mouth to speak and
Gimme strength when I’m weak and
Help me rest on the weekend
You are my ultimate defense
I need your strength to repent
I’m sorry for being sinful
You’re the lead for my pencil
You give wisdom to the simple
Please guide all rhymes for
This JayLotus instrumental
People think I’m a lunatic
People think I’ve gone loco
If the truth is a gun then
I’m unloadin the fo-fo right to the head
Leavin men enlightened instead of dead
But they don’t like what I said
Nevertheless I did what I could
I’m just a lowly messenger who
is learning to pray without, ceasin’
Pray without, ceasin
Pray without, ceasin
Pray without, ceasin while people hate without reason

Late Friday to early Sunday does not equal three days and three nights.
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12:40 KJV)
Test everything. Shalom.

Anonymous asked: Easter is a pagan holiday and has nothing to do with Jesus
ever holiday is commercialized to make money off chocolate basically
but Easter is about the death of Jesus who saved the whole world when no one else could. It’s about His sacrifice, unfailing love and ultimate grace. He is THE saviour. It’s also about His resurrection, which allows us to have relationship with Him wherever and whenever.
But I agree, It’s basically just eggs and bunnies
I encourage you to keep seeking truth and do some research. If it’s not biblical, but commercial…then it’s been ordained by man and not by God.
But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:3, 8, 9 KJV)
God has already given us days of festivities (Holy Days in Leviticus 23), ways that are pleasing to Him, and instructions that everlasting. I hope we both find that narrow way.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:14 KJV)
